In the previous blog, adding Alec Guinness to be the fourth one by joining the holy trinity, as Olivier, Richardson and Gielgud used to be referred to in those days, since Michael Redgrave was a dominating actor beside the holy trinity, building a quartet, Guinness would build the fifth one.

Alec Guinness played the Malvolio beside Ralph Richardson as Sir Toly Bloch. He was skilled to portray different characters in film like: “Kind hearts and Coronets”, by impersonating eight different characters, becoming a role model for Peter Sellers. He wrote screenplays for “Horse Mouth” and directed it. He could connect himself to the new and younger generation in the “Star Wars”, as Obi-Wan Knobi. The television role charactering the Mr. Smiley’s in John le Carré; “Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy” and “Smiley’s People”. He could have been the master spy Mr. Smiley in the Endless Mission team masterminding efforts to find the chemist and put an end to the chlorine gas production, but he was only born in 1914.
